This is Our Family's First photoshoot, what should I know?

Family sessions come with unique rhythms, especially when little ones and nap schedules are involved! I recommend bringing a favorite toy or comfort item that I can easily hold to help with focus during photos, along with offering littles (& teens, hehe) a non-messy snack on the way to your session so that everyone arrives feeling content. We will move at a relaxed pace, take breaks as needed, and prioritize the images that matter most to you. I also offer a style consultation add-on to help take that off your plate if need be!

Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?

Yes! Travel within the DFW area is included. For sessions outside of DFW, travel is calculated at $0.70 per mile. I also host select session dates in College Station and the Hill Country with reduced travel fees. You’re always welcome to contact me to see what’s coming up!

What happens if the weather is unfavorable for an outdoor shoot?

As someone with naturally curly hair, I understand firsthand how humidity, intense temperatures, or wind can affect both comfort and appearance. Your experience and the quality of your images are always my top priority! If weather conditions are not ideal, we will thoughtfully adjust plans or reschedule to ensure the best possible outcome. I closely monitor the forecast and will be in touch leading up to your session so we can make a confident, stress-free decision together!
