Are the travel expenses included in your packages or additional costs?

Travel within the DFW area is included. For sessions outside of DFW, travel is calculated at $0.72 per mile. Travel out of the state/country is more than welcome and can be discussed further after inquiry!

What precautions do you take to protect our wedding photos?

You’re in good hands! Safeguarding your images is one of my highest priorities. All cameras used by Cassidy Gattelaro Photography (including those used by second photographers) are professional cameras equipped with dual memory card slots. This means every image is recorded to two cards simultaneously throughout the day, creating an instant backup while we photograph your wedding.


After your wedding, your images are carefully backed up to multiple professional external hard drives to ensure they remain safe both during editing and long after your gallery is delivered. Your memories are truly irreplaceable, and every step of my workflow is designed to protect them.

Do you recommend an engagement session?

Of course! Engagement sessions are one of the best ways to prepare for your wedding photography experience. While I will guide you through portraits on the wedding day, an engagement session allows you to become comfortable in front of the camera and get a feel for how I direct and photograph couples. By the time your wedding arrives, everything feels natural and effortless.


It’s also a wonderful excuse to slow down, get dressed up, and celebrate this season of your engagement together. Pro tip: plan a date night afterward to make the evening even more special.
